I saw Dr Karam for thoracic outlet syndrome. When I first met with him in February of 2023 he told me that this condition was quite rare and he had only done 12 of these procedures. He also said he was currently conducting research on them. We proceeded with my surgery September of 2023. Unfortunately, my symptoms did not get better, they actually got worse. Dr. Karam is best at what he does. He greets you and asks how you are doing and truly is interested in what you have to say. I was impressed by his knowledge and skill at verbally expressing the vascular issue I was experiencing. I was overwhelmed at what hospital and doctor I should go to. I did my research. Dr. Karam was listed in the top 25 best vascular surgeons near Minneapolis by: "MediFind" Also, Abbott Hospital has two other vascular surgeons on that list.
