I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Mayo about 14 years after having my left hip replaced by another doctor. Dr. Mayo is so good. I was only off work for two months and there really was no pain. The difference between the two surgeries was unbelievable. If you can't sleep, or if you can barely handle the pain, don't put it off, go see Dr. Mayo. You'll kick yourself for waiting so long!
He has done knee replacements on both my parents and a hip replacement on my mother as well. He is a rare “people person” surgeon, and his skill is evident in a wonderful smooth healing process and positive recovery results!
A wonderful surgeon. Explained the entire process in detail. My hip works like new. I wish more doctors (and dentists---mine has big hands and a bad attitude) were as thorough and kind.
