Awful...never waited less than thirty minutes and the last straw was when I waited FOUR hours. I don't care how good he is,that is ridiculous. One other time after TWO hours,I left to pick someone up who could not wait and they kept my deposit! So,the heck with Hecht!
My surgery was on June 7th, 2017. It was a complete anterior hip replacement by Dr. Hecht. I had been using a walker for 4 months unable to walk unassisted and in terrible pain. Within 5 days after surgery and going to a rehab facility, I was walking unassisted and was pain free. Rehab jump-started my recovery. Dr. Hecht gave me my life back and I am so grateful!
Excellent doctor who isn't knife happy, takes a conservative approach first to try and help. He has helped me put off knee replacement surgery for 10 years with injections and I love him for that! I'm way to young to have surgery and would still like to wait 5 years or so until I'm in my 60's.
