Dr. Fletcher is the best Gastroenterology anywhere . He is a kind and caring man.
I am a caregiver for my adult son and husband. They both have many health issues for which I have helped arrange doctor visits and surgeries over the past 10 years. We believe Dr. Fletcher to be very competent in treating the issue at hand and cares about one's total over all health. He listens carefully and answers questions completely. This guy is a clown! Don't dare leave him in charge of making decisions for your loved one. He was about to a procedure on my loved that is a high risk cardiac patient without any consultation or clearance from a cardiologist. He doesn't communicate whatsoever with any of your current doctors or your previous diagnoses. I'm scared to death to think about what might have happened if I hadn't questioned the charge nurse about the lack of communication.
Their office doesn't return phone calls, Their recording says they are closed but then goes on to say that their business hours are 8-5 Monday through Thursday. I've called several times this Tuesday from 1:50 - 3:20 pm and can't get anyone to answer the phone and they haven't returned my call from last Tuesday. There is no way to leave a message other than a call-out for the doctor. I had similar problems a couple months ago when I scheduled my procedure. Nicest man. Punctuality is objective - he needs another doctor in that office. Could be more knowledgeable about his field, however, he is getting better.
If possible, I'd give zero stars. He came to see me when I was in hospital, without my consent. Insulted me in every way, rude, condescending and egomaniac. When I got a HUGE bill, I called to dispute it. The staff was unbelievably rude. Bizarre that people like this can be doctors.
Did not see Doctor prior to procedure being done. Staff uncooperative in willingness to contact another of my doctors for special planning needed due to another condition resulting in my not getting proper preparation to protect me in relation to the other medical condition. Dr. later said he didn't know anything about such which obviously seemed to mean he did not read chart prepared by his staff or staff did not inform him. In follow up (following procedure) he ignored my questions completely and was rather rude.
