My son had traumatic brain injury causing him to go blind in one eye. Dr Hegleh came into to see him right away at hospital. He was very thorough and very knowledgeable of his condition. After release from hospital when calling to set up visit to office to find that the doctor had already made an appointment for us right away. Very good doctor and caring person. Thank you.
Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with Dr. Hegleh. After a visit to SMH Venice ER I had a follow up visit at Dr. Hegleh’s SRQ office first thing the next day. He promptly removed debris from my right eye and prescribed medications I am still using. However, he also scheduled surgery in order to “make my eye look better”, at a local surgery center that afternoon. The plan was to suture the laceration. When I woke up and saw everything looked brighter and clearer then ever! I could have cried with joy! It was amazing! I recommend him highly! He is a wonderful doctor! Very gifted!
