Was misdiagnosed by this doctor for years with depression. Felt like I was not heard. When I finally moved away I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ptsd. And my life completely changed.
The mental health system in bend we found young, inexperienced,they didn't listen well and with our 40 yrs of marriage suggested we divorce!wow no help at all.....we demanded to see DR Barrett and we got the mature guidance we needed, I highly recommend this fine gentleman both for deep counsel and med review --He is discerning and intelligent,, yes!
Dr Joseph a Barrett is a very good psychiatrist He is very kind, And listens very well. He is also very compassionate and has had enough world experience to understand your problems. Not impressed after several years with this office but I don’t feel there are options in this town really that are sufficient. If a better psychiatrist team comes along I will switch ASAP. Staff is extremely hard to reach and my pharmacy often has issues getting my doctors refills. It’s just wrong. After years with the same doctor I don’t understand this.
He's a doctor who knows what he does! Many years together and makes a difference every day in my life. Thank you doctor Barrett 🙏🏻
