He didn't bother to look over the xrays / MRI / etc. before I arrived, and left me sitting there while he took a personal call. Once he finally gave me his attention, he was rude and acted as if he didn't have the time or interest in help me at all. A complete waste of money.
Dr. Rodriguez is very knowledgeable in his craft and very thorough during his examination on my case . He explores every possible solution from steroid treatment befor considering going to immediate surgery .I beleive he is the perfect fit in addressing my sciatic pain .
So I was just observer today for my wife’s consultation on siatic back pain and possible surgery. He barley let her speak and did not focus on the pain she had and where. He went to look at her MRI and his hands we very shaky? He also did not looks at her records she sent in prior. His staff did not relay any messages to him on my wife’s insistence that I be in the room. He even asked my wife if she had a communication problem and was that why I was there? My experience with Rodriguez was short but he handled what my girlfriend thought she needed. Which was his services. So after consult he steered us away from going under the knife and shot us a referral to where he thought would be a second option for us. He was right. We were also well I mean well informed of what the risks were, what the gains might be what to look for, what to ask about and what to expect. The transparency was a nice change from others. Dr Jose Rodriguez is clearly the best specialist in neurosurgery. Aside from being a brilliant surgeon, he is an extremely caring and empathetic gentleman. He takes time, sits with his patient, looking directly in there eyes and LISTENS! He offers his educated and well-earned opinions. Again, LISTENS and takes time to assure you understand each question. A finer surgeon and gentle soul is the best I have had the honor to be his patient. How very fortunate I am!
