Had a horrible experience with my appointment with Dr. Cruz. I was referred by my doctor to his office. I was called on a Friday by Dr Cruz’S office and told that I had an appointment on Monday at 8:40 am. I was told to show up with blood work only two days prior to the appointment. I told them if the blood work from my primary physician would suffice and they told me no. I’m a former patient of Dr. Jose Cruz from 2013. I was without health insurance due to Obamacare issues and self employment. I was rushed to the hospital after collapsing. My CBC came back at Hgb 3.2 and my white cells had plummeted. I was given very little hope of living another day if not hours and completely dependent on blood transfusions. Any other dr is better than this one. Please go somewhere more competent. I have gotten second opinions on his consultations and recommendations, each time a dr disagreed and formulated a better treatment plan. For your health’s sake, go somewhere else where they know what they’re doing and don’t settle for mediocre medical care.
