I loved the staff however Dr. Velez bedside matter is absolutely horrible. He’s loud and brash. He stormed into the room yelling from the hallway that my son was malnourished he hadn’t bothered to read my son’s chart to know he was born at 2lbs. He then proceed to manhandled my son causing him to burst out crying because he hadn’t even bothered to introduce himself to my one year old. He’ll he didn’t himself to me! I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend him.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Find a Dr. who is compassionate and willing to help your kids and listen to what you have to say. I missed work today as well as my son missing school for nothing. Dr. Velez is overbearing and rude.!!!!
The scheduling receptionist is rude. Interrupts. Zero empathy. I will probably switch doctors because I would prefer to not deal with her unpleasantness every time I bring my children here.
