Top notch retina specialist, worth the long commute to consult with! Has a profound understanding of my complex retina issues based on intelligent assessment of my eye history and pattern of retina issues. Excellent bedside manners too! Very professional, empathic and patient in explaining and clarifying despite his packed schedule. Really honors his oath as a medical professional! Dr. Yoken diagnosed wet macular degeneration in my eye in which i had lost a lot of my vision. He thoroughly explained my condition and developed very good treatment plan knowing that I was visiting United States. He is very professional, compassionate, thorough and thoughtful. His staff at Eye health NW is also very helpful and take time to capture images which was specifically hard because of my limited vision. My vision is much improved. Dr Yoken fit me into his schedule on an emergency basis and was able to get me scheduled for vetrectomy with endolaser and biolaser treatment, Greek to me, the next morning. He has very good "bedside" manner and explained everything to my complete satisfaction.
