As a addict with 5 years sober who saw Whitefield years ago . 2mgs of xanax 3 times a day . One of my psychotherapists flipped when he heard that because he knows Jonathan. I saw Jonathan in the intent of seeing a addiction specialist . What a conundrum.
I have seen Dr. Whitfield regularly for over three years. I look forward to each of our meetings and find him to be one of the most genuine and warm individuals that I have had the pleasure to know, in any capacity. In my estimation, he seems to truly thrive on spending face-to-face time with his patients. I appreciate the good fortune I have had to be a client as Dr. Whitfield has been integral in some of the key positive changes in my life.
Dr Whitfield prescribed my daughter who is an addict Prozac, Welbuterin, klonopin, Restoril, Adderall and Ambien. This combo of drugs shouldn’t be prescribed to anyone, let alone an addict. Dr Whitfield had a long conversation with her previous psychiatrist and had all the back ground needed to make a well informed decision of care for my daughter. At best this is negligible, and worst it’s criminal. Don’t place your trust in this man
