Dr. Patterson was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I’m sure he’s a wonderful surgeon but he needs to learn how to speak to people and needs to not make judgment calls when all he knows about someone is what’s on the paper in front of him. No one should ever be made to feel like less of a person from someone who is suppose to help them or leave their office in tears from how they were spoke to. If you see this Mr. Patterson you should be ashamed of yourself for how you spoke to me
Several repeat surgeries caused sepsis, talks down, blames and makes fun of his patient.
Met with Dr Patterson for consult presurgery. Appointment was rescheduled an hour later due to his surgery schedule. Then waited in his office for 2.5 hours. Postop appt was again rescheduled an hour later. Then waited another 2 hours to be evaluated. Surgery went as expected. Did have complications that returned me to ER resulted in a overnight stay. At postop meeting I also felt uncomfortable with his bedside manner. Felt he was somewhat rude and condescending. I would not recommend
We went to see Dr Patterson for a surgical consultation. We were sent to see a surgeon from an emergency medical facility. He was arrogant and both looked down and talked down to us. Both my friend and I had not slept well in several days do to the pain he was in. He made personal judgments from our appearance without knowing our background and history. He spent more time talking down to us then asking medical questions as to why we were there. I defiantly would look at other surgeons
