I had lower back surgery with Dr Sherman in ‘09. My initial pain was relieved but I was left with partial numbness and weakness in my right foot. I walk with a limp and have difficulty walking more than 50 yards without discomfort. Due to the problem with my foot, I have a lot of balance issues. I now have a type of scoliosis where the hardware has moved . I needed back surgery for 8 years. About 10 years ago I had no choice but to have the surgery. Being a nurse, I knew the potential and common complications. I was out of bed day of surgery and had no problems. I am still doing well today. Thank you Dr. Sherman!
