Dr. Shafer earned my high praise. He’s not surgery-driven, even though I have Stage 4 arthritis and my CMC joint is unstable. He looked at what’s best for me in the immediate future (sea kayaking is a priority) and how I can strengthen my hand and minimize what little pain I have, 0-2 on a 10-point scale, by working with a physical therapist. Thank you, Dr. Shafer. So glad I came to you for a second opinion!
