If I could leave a thousand-star rating, I absolutely would. Dr. Sheindlin is a true blessing. For years, I struggled with severe nearsightedness; no glasses or "eye exper" ever truly corrected my vision. Then, in 2017, my case was transferred from Dr. Dankner to Dr. Sheindlin. Within just two visits, he scheduled me for cataract surgery with ocular lens implants, one eye at a time. I just had a very thorough eye examination at Dr Sheindlins office. From the efficient and welcoming staff, the knowledgeable techs and Dr Sheindlin himself, it was a very pleasant experience. I'm always happy when a doctor's office is busy, it means he's good. But I wasn't rushed. All my questions were answered. Great experience!
I have been seeing Dr.Scheindlin for years, and hold him in high regard, but after my last visit on 1/15/24, I will never go back to his office. Arrived at 9:30 for a 10:00 appointment. After an hour wait, they stated wait time could be up to 2 hrs. After another 30 minutes I asked the front desk how many other doctors were working, which I was told was just one. When I asked why other patients, who came in after me were being called before me, they couldn't give me an answer. Totally unprofessional.
I love this place, they're always helpful and the doctor is a delight. The only downside is that you have to make your appointments early so you'll be able to leave at a reasonable time.
