There were several teams that helped care for me before, during and after surgery. I found everyone to be both knowledgeable and friendly. I was very concerned about the pain after surgery. I was pleasantly surprised that the pain was not nearly to the level I anticipated because it was managed very well, particularly with the nerve block. I was able to get prompt service from the anesthesiology team when I needed a call. They also checked in on me the day after surgery.
