He was late for lunch and didn't want to see me. He asked if I had a cognitive issue because I didn't remember the date my hip started bothering me. He did back tests and said my hip was fine. He refused to acknowledge my limited ability to move my leg to the side. He refused to look at x-rays. Then he got very angry and said he'd had enough and that he would not help me at all - ever. Every person I encountered was outstanding. Very pleasant, helpful and caring. Dr. Uggen took the time to listen and give me advise on how to proceed. So glad I chose Dr. Uggen and his staff to treat me.
Had Doctor Uggen replace my right hip because he did such a great job on the replacement of my left hip. Six weeks out from surgery and can’t even tell I had it done no pain and more flexibility. Such a great job.
I’ve had two knee replacements by Dr. Uggen good staff good doctor. I also like his PA they do a very good job.
It is always a pleasure to meet with Dr Uggen. He gave me my active life back but replacing both of my hips 2 years ago. Thank you Dr Uggen!

Dr. Uggen’s office reception staff , as well as the x-Ray techs, his PA, Mindy, and himself are all friendly, kind and listen! I had a wonderful outcome from my hip replacement, with a painless surgery and recovery!!! Of course I had pain meds, but only needed them for a short time , gained my mobility and range of motion back quickly! Now I can do what I used to years ago and have good range of motion and no pain!
