Patient/dr. Interactions. Dr. Is very rushed, does not the time to listen and answer questions. The second visit it was the same hurried atmosphere. Told I need knee surgery. 3month wait so gave a injection in my knee to help with pain along with a pain med prescribed. Three hours after injection my knee swelled and couldn't lift it or put any weight on it. Called the office to report and told to go to er. He's one of the worst doctors I've ever been to. He asked me questions but kept talking over me and wouldn't let me answer him. Telling me I need test done that's already been done. Worst bed size manner I have ever experienced. Would never ever recommend anybody to go to him. I was very surprised, as his staff seemed very friendly.
I had both total knee replacements. 9/11 and 9/14. From the time I first entered the office the first time I knew I was in the right place. From the desk people, the X-ray tech, nurses, Maxine the PA and then Dr. Dounhess. Went ahead and scheduled the staged bilateral knee replacements. NCH was great to welcome me. Then surgery day 1. Doctor came saw me before and then I proceeded to Surgery. I was expecting so much more. 1 1/2 hours later they had me walking. The next 2 days either Doc or Maxine would check on me.
