I saw Dr Starr on many occasions for skin cancer treatment. Recently, after being Dx with a serious cancer lesion of nose in Roseville,Ca, I went to see him as a personal friend and second opinion. He gave me good advice on the doctor I was referred to in Sacramento, Ca and I had successful MOHs surgery and graft since.I will always be thankful for his advice and care. Dr Lawrence A Saunders.

Dr. Starr made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. Great bedside manner. He clearly is passionate about this field and answered all my questions without any sign of impatience. Compassionate and a genuinely nice guy! He actually made my Mohs procedure enjoyable! Highly recommend.

Dr. Starr does the dreaded MOHS surgery to remove skin cancers. It takes several hours to make the incisions, do microscope analysis and repeat the process until the borders are clear. During this time Dr. Starr and his terrific staff keep you well informed of the progress. Unfortunately, I have had to see him several times and will definitely go back to if necessary.

Dr Starr is a compassionate physician with a great bedside manner. His explanations are straightforward and thorough. I have complete confidence in his advice and work. My Mohs surgery went smoothly and the site is healing well, looking like scarring will be minimal. Also, his staff and the office employees are terrific too.

Absolutely excellant physician. Very detailed in his explanation of the need for a Mohs surgical procedure. Called me at home that evening to see how I was doing! First MOHs was on top of my head, over several years two additional procedures were done on facial areas with no noticeable scarring. Only wish I could give him 10 stars. Thank you Dr. Starr for your dedication to being the best dermatologist/cancer surgeon.
