If I could give zero stars I would. This doctor is blunt, rude, and lacks even one once of compassion. Really like the other two walk in care doctors but would drive out of my way to go to any of the other hutch clinic locations if Dr. Thode is working.
My visit was great he helped me out he's a good doctor my skin healed up cause of him great job.
Dr. Billings seemed friendly enough but he couldn't find a resolve for a wasp sting that gave me a blood infection. It took another, more experienced doctor to find the problem I suffered from plus, Dr. Billings inadvertantly caused me another medical problem by prescribing me too many different antibiotics, not all at once but one after another when a previos prescription failed. And, I was a little concerned when he had to turn to his computer to look up the reason I was why I was seeing him
No bedside manner, in fact quite rude to me. Talked down to me, maybe in my room 3 minutes. Won’t go back to walk in clinic if he is there. If he doesn’t like patient maybe he should quit.
My wife and I were patients of Dr. Billings for 20 years until we moved away. He is an excellent doctor, listens and explains and appears not to be in a hurry to get to his next patient. We would return to his practice without question should we ever move back to McPherson.
Dr. Thode is an exceptionally skilled physician. Once I could not get over a severe respitory infection, despite seeing my regular physician several times. Dr. Thode put me on a nebulizer and I finally started feeling better for the first time in weeks . Another time a physician misdiagnosed a sprain. Dr. Thode figured out that I had actually broken my elbow. He has a very gentle and calm demeanor. He listens quietly to what you say. He takes the time to carefully explain everything.
He is very kind. He is also very careful about doing the right tests.
While I felt a little rushed during the appointment before surgery, I found Dr. Shaw very patient and supportive before and after the surgery.
Sent to Dr. for lump under my arm.Kept mentioning to nurse he was running behind. Looked at my chart and said, we will prescribe more antibiotics, maybe come back in a few weeks. I had already been treated for two weeks with antibiotics. He had me raise my arm, never touched, felt or physically examined me. He said as he was walking out the door, still mentioning how behind he was It's nothing How he could tell without running any test or taking the time to examine. Spent 2 minutes with me
