Did not push for surgery and successfully treated both knees with alternative treatments for over two years. Eventually had surgery on both knees and, approximately one year apart. First few days were a little rough, but recovery was fast, and was walking without aids in 14 to 20 days after each knee replacement.

He told me that I’d be able to have MRIs again if I let him replace my SCS battery. That was a lie. All he needed to do was crack open my records to see what type of leads I had and WHEN they were implanted to determine he couldn’t help me. I was actually referred to him by another doctor at HROSM, for the EXPLICIT PURPOSE OF BEING ABLE TO GET AN MRI AGAIN. That means he should’ve told me, UP-FRONT, that this simply wasn’t possible. The the morning of my surgery I asked a few questions of the Medtronic rep, and learned every... read more

Thankfully he dismissed me as his patient. This is after injections, PT and MRI. I have a feeling it had something to do with money. My insurance Medicare advantage pays less then Medicare. Fortunately, I was recommended an awesome surgeon that cared about people beyond the financial. My surgeon was Dr. Carlson and I am pain free after 3 years of being disabled. Thank you Dr. Carlson!

I was assigned Dr. Aldridge during a recent hospital stay and he never came by to see me. I had a follow up appointment in his office and he was 45 minutes late, spent 3 minutes with me and was rude and arrogant. Avoid this doctor if you can!

2022 review : THIS DR CHANGED MY LIFE but in the WORST way. He did a torn hip labrum FAI surgery on me in 2017. After 4 years and thousands of $$ to figure out why I was STILL living with up to level 10 pain after…EVERY SINGLE DAY since my surgery, saw multiple doctors, had multiple very painful tests, no one could figure out what was wrong with me until I ended up at a hospital in NC and finally had the answer…..2021 MRI results…Dr Aldridge didn’t repair my labrum during the surgery! Did he tell me that? NO! PLUS even worse... read more

He's a straight to the point doctor and my visits were really short. Thankfully, here wasn't anything seriously wrong with me, just some arthritis and he did recommend an epidural. However, it felt like I had to draw information out of him. Also, it would've been more helpful to review the actual results of the MRI/Xrays together with him, rather than AFTER he left the room. This would've been more helpful in our communication. Instead, I was left with more questions, and his team took two business days to respond back. When... read more

Dr. Aldridge is definitely a "just the facts" kind of person. He is pleasant, concise, and focused. I could sense his military background. I never felt rushed but we talked about my knee issues and what could be done. I have had two surgeries, a complicated ankle injury and a torn meniscus repair performed by him and found him extremely skilled and knowledgeable. Personally, I want to know what is wrong and how to fix it. In my opinion, he fills both those requirements. If I want "nice personality", I talk to my husband.
