My visit was nothing short of awful. Dr. Mullen basically told me "kidney stones are just something you have to live with". Offered no advice, lifestyle changes or reasons as to why I'm 23 years old and have over a dozen stones shared between my kidneys. It was really disappointing, and I felt very pushed aside, like my the pain/stress inflicting my everyday life wasn't important. I feel as though I would have been treated differently if I wasn't a young woman. I had to fight tooth and nail to get my stone analysis results b... read more

He did not show up. After my vitals were taken I waited alone for 40 minutes. When I went out to ask, staff said he called and would be in in about another half hour. I left. I felt I could not trust this doctor.

Dr. Mullen may prescribe Testosterone Replacement Therapy, but he takes an incredibly conservative approach to it, to the point that you probably wont' be much better off than without it. He refuses to treat symptoms, and will only treat numbers and while I am technically in range after TRT, I'm just barely in range. Truly been a waste of effort and time and he refuses to budge. If I had known how little of an effect I would have gotten I would have stayed far away from his treatment plan.

My dad was very ill and getting towards the end of his life. We met Dr. Mullen in the ER. He looked at my dad's records and said he wanted to think about the options. He didn't hurry to just do a very invasive procedure, instead he encouraged my and my family to think about the long term outcome. It was the best decision we could have made. Dad was put into hospice, finally was pain-free and we are so grateful that he was able live out his final days in comfort and at his residence with family.

Dr. Mullen performed robotic prostate surgery on me in Jan 2017. I was adenocarcinoma intermediate stage Gleason score 3 + 4 (7). The results were excellent and I am now cancer free after my 6 wk PSA blood test. I had no problems whatsoever and could not be happier with Dr. Mullen. Right after surg ery I had good urinary control, no catheter or infection issues whatsoever. He spared both nerve bundles I am making noticeable steady improvement in sexual function. I highly recommend this Dr
