Patient, caring and extremely thorough. Spent quite a long time evaluating my eyes. I have been to another ophthalmologist who dismissed my concerns. Dr R took it steps further to recommend a Neuro ophthalmologist which was what was needed. His ego did not get in the way of his expertise. Best dr.
I am a cardiologist who resides in Smithtown New York. I have used Dr. Romanelli and his previous associates for the past 40 years. They have been nothing but professional and have provided the highest quality medical care. I have always felt that the care of a colleague or their families is the highest honor a physician can get from another physician. The best. I had cataract surgery in both eyes with Dr. Romanelli at St Catherine in Smithtown. I was sitting in a chair awake, no pain and vision restored to 20-20 with new lenses implanted over my eyes. He is in network and a wonderful doctor. A Surgeon with degrees from Harvard and MIT.
Dr. Romanelli is the kindest man. He is thorough, polite, and professional. Office staff is very efficient!
Had my first visit today with Dr. Romanelli after recently moving from Nassau County. Agree with all the above comments, except the negative one. He was personable, thorough, answered my questions. Glad I found him , hope he doesn’t retire soon.:)
Dr. Romanelli is by far the best ophthalmologist I’ve ever been to! He’s so kind and patient. He is always very thorough and always takes times to listen to and check out any questions or concerns I have. My entire family goes to Dr. Romanelli, he’s the best!
