I have been seeing Dr. John R Tesser since 2018, and he saved my life. Before seeing Dr. Tesser, I went to the hospital and saw other providers, but nobody knew what was going on with me. I had a fever for months, I had swelling in my whole body, couldn’t breathe because my lymph nodes were so swollen, and couldn’t walk or use my hands without pain. I saw Dr. Tesser for a bone density problem. He explained my current condition thoroughly, answered my questions and recommended a treatment which was also very clearly explained. It was one of the most pleasant doctor appointments I've ever experienced, and being 74, I've had a lot of them!
Have only seen him once in a year. Keep getting PAs. Made appt with him specifically, drove 40 minutes, only to be told I'd be seeing another PA. Nothing against PAs, but I needed to talk to him! That's why I made the appt! Never again. Going elsewhere. Oh, add in the half hour wait time for the PA. Definitely NOT patient-centered care.
