Dr Kurtz really cares about his patients well being. He has done several of my root canals and each one has been successful and painless. I recommend Dr. Kurtz with a 5 star review. His front office staff and dental tech are also top notch.
Had the opportunity to meet this doctor because I needed two root canals and I have high anxiety and some fear of any dental work given an accident many years ago that involved several dental surgeries. Found Dr. Kurtz to be compassionate and sensitive to my plight in addition to the job well done. I might also add the appointment time was respected for all visits and found the assistants and entire office staff to be cheerful and courteous. I would recommend Dr. John Kurtz to all who would listen.
Stay away and find another location. One of the most horrible experiences in my life. John Kurtz was the one working on me and not sure how in God's green earth does this man hold a license to practice in Arizona. I had a root canal done and during the first visit my tooth was very sensitive to cold and hot and during the end the procedure I had a very sharp pain so he a schedule a second appointment due to my infection of the tooth. I was referred to Dr. Kurtz by my family dentist to evaluate two teeth in which had been part of a bridge that broke off. He was very accurate in advising me that one tooth could be saved and referred me to an oral surgeon to have the other removed and prepared for implant. He did a wonderful job on the root canal and post. His competent staff was friendly to professional. In addition, his referral to the oral surgeon was excellent. I am very pleased with the entire experience.
