Dr Holttum really worked well with my son. He is one of the few psychiatrists who actually goes beyond just doing medication management. He is able to talk to my child in a way that makes sense to him. He has great rapport, and listens respectfully without interrupting. He then shares helpful information that my son applies to his life.
I saw Dr. John briefly in 2016. John consistently interrupted and could finish a single sentence while talking to him. He immediately said I was bipolar with no explanation. I ask why I was bipolar and he didn't give an answer even though I didn't have any of the symptoms. This man is arrogant, doesn't know what is talking about, and overall a terrible provider who shouldn't practice medicine. I wouldn't recommend John to even Adolf Hilter.
