I have degenerative bone disease and Dr. Ehteshami has operated 3 times on my spine. He was very clear in informing me before each surgery what to expect after surgery. He even changed the dressing on my back when I was in the hospital this last time and the nurses commented that no Dr. does that, usually it's them.
After 8 years of being turned down by Mayo, The Core institute and numerous physicians due to having Marfans and an aortic aneurysm, this man listened to me when no one else would. While he didn't perform my surgery, he recommended the man who did and both improved my way of life dramatically. I thank him immensely for being THE ONLY physician in an 8 year span of time to correctly understand what I was going through and genuinely want to help.
Dr. EHTESHAMI was extremely responsive to my health problems. He was very honest with me and also took the time to educate me about the problem. Surgery was on a Saturday and he personally saw me on Sunday in the hospital. He is confident and compassionate, as well as skilled. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. JOHN EHTESHAMI. I owe him my life. Thank you!!
I just had L-3 Laminectomy W/fusion May 23rd. went home on 4th day. Very mild pain. In the end 2014 I also had C-5 fusion. I had the surgery on Monday spent the night in ICU because surgery involved my throat and breathing. By 15:00 the following day, we stopped and picked up pizza on the way home. I had 0 pain in my neck. Almost same with the Lumbar surgery. Only thing being the L-3 is a lot more involved than C-5. Best Back surgeon. I also had L-4 surgery diff Dr when I was 30. Am 60 now
Dr. Ehteshami is my idea of a perfect doctor! He's on time, highly skilled and frank about what to expect. He did fusion surgery on 3 vertebrae in my neck, and after 4 years of dealing with pain doctors who always have one more expensive procedure to try, Dr. Ehteshami fixed me for real. He's fantastic, and his staff is easily the best I've ever met. He also uses technology that videos your appointment and emails it to you afterwards. I hope I never need him again, but if I do, I won' hesitate!
Dr. Ehteshami is a very thorough surgeon before, during and after my back surgery and he has a great bedside manner as well. He took the time to answer any and all of my questions and was very honest with me about what to and not to expect. I would and have recommended Dr. Ehteshami.
