Dr.Voelkel had always taken good care of my son I really appreciate all he does. He definitely knows how to keep my son spirit alive and lifted
Dr Voelkel is my doctor and I just LOVE him! I was really nervous about colon cancer since I’ve known people my age die of colon cancer in their 30s, and he thoroughly explained the risk factors and symptoms associated with colon cancer, like family history of colon cancer, problems like pain or bleeding, age of 45 or greater and I felt so understood and validated by his explanation of these things. The Doctor may be good but not worth the hassle of going through their scheduling process. Although I am a current patient, you are unable to request an appointment through the patient portal. Last appointment, it took me 3 days to talk to a live person to set up my appointment. Once I arrived for my appointment they informed me that my appointment had been canceled and to wait to talk to the scheduler to make another appointment. Just not a good experience and seems there should be a better way.

Hands down the best doctor I’ve dealt with in a very long time!! He did my colonoscopy and endoscopy and was SO sweet, he came and talked to me before to make sure I understood everything. He even held my hand for second and told me everything was going to be ok and he was going to take good care of me because I was nervous about being put to sleep. I can’t recommend him enough!!!
