I have always been pleased with till lately. I've made appointments wanting to see him to only find the last three visits have been with nurse practitioner.i was having major issues reason I wanted dr voelkel I needed his help. I explained to nurse practitioner I had been having issues and needed to see him. first it took 2 months to get in and still left without seeing him. I originally was not a patient of Dr. Voelkel, but my aunt was a patient of Dr. Ferrante. I had been sick for well over a year and none of the doctors around here really tried to find the root problem of why I was so sick. So, my aunt called and begged them to see me immediately. I only waited three days. I immediately loved them. Alyssa, Dr. Voelkel 's NP is the best! For treatment. We started with one thing, it worked a little while. But I still wasn't well. My wife has had a fever for over 21 days after going to the Crestwood ER we were referred to go to Dr. Voelkel. Upon calling his office we were told that our health insurance was not accepted. I explained to the staff that we have an Health Savings Account (HSA) which means that we self pay unless the cost of service exceeds our deductible of $10,000. Our deductible amount sits in an HSA account until we need service! She informed me that because we had an HSA that we fall under a second class structure (no insurance class) ... read more
