Obviously this web site is a mess and unhelpful. There are doctors on this site with high ratings who are dead or disabled. Ask your primary care doctor or someone you know who is seeing a psychiatrist for a recommendation. Dr. Parkinson's name will come up high on anyone's list.
Dr. Parkinson is THE BEST psychiatrist that I have ever worked with. He is very thorough and will assimilate information from any other medical professionals that you may have. He is very ethical and he truly cares. He will work to find the most effective medication/combination for you. He will monitor you closely. Dr. Parkinson cares about the client's safety and well being first and foremost.
Dr. Parkinson is a very kind doctor. I have been through many psychiatrist due to my son's mental illness and my depression due to North Carolina's poor health system and really bad psychiatric hospital in Wilmington. He is very good at diagnosing and is willing to work with combinations of medications. Many mental health workers encourage patients to turn against family members in order to avoid accountability. He also reads patient's records.
This man is a pompous jerk. He's not helpful at all.
