My experience with Dr. McConnell was exceptional as usual. He is a gifted orthopedic surgeon and has the ability to explain complex clinical findings in a understanding manner.
Dr. McConnell took very little time to review my condition. The notes put in the file for my in-office treatment were incorrect, and I had to call the doctor's office afterward to request corrections. The doctor recommended a complete knee replacement, whereas the condition was with the kneecap only. I will be seeking a second opinion from another physician.
Update, April 2025: After continued pain & issues following my injuries, I have seen another orthopedist. I have a severe syndesmosis injury, a destroyed medial meniscus and a subscapularis tear at the myotendinous junction. All of these injuries will require surgical intervention, meaning three different surgeries on three different joints.
