If you need a Cardiologist, your first stop should be Dr. John Hakim. At your first meeting, you will realize that you are in good hands because of his knowledge and caring attitude. Amazingly, you can call him and he will call you back personally. Dr. Hakim is certainly friendly but you should be wary of any diagnosis he may have of you. This man put a stint in me that was weeks later reviewed by two of the east coast largest heart centers for second opinion and was determined to be completely unnecessary. I have no heart disease, plaque or calcium buildup at all and Dr. Hakims decision to put a stint in me lacked any demonstrated diligence on his behalf.
