Have been Dr. Nienow’s patient for more than 10 years. He has been most friendly, thorough and up to date physician. Won’t find any other physician!
This Dr. is super ! Engaging and caring, knows what's what. I've been HIV + since 1987 and Dr. Nienow knows and his highly educated and informed regarding Gay Men's health issues regarding HIV, as weak as my health issues pertaining to HIV
After seeing Dr. Nienow for 2 years with no issues(besides his ineffective and unfriendly receptionist) I had a terrible accident & ended up in a hospital in Mexico. We spoke 2 days after as I needed medication advice so he was very aware of my accident. A week later I ended up in the ICU and my doctor requested blood panels,etc from Nienow so I emailed him and texted him twice as I had his cell phone number. Nothing. Never heard from him again. Dr. Nienow disappeared on me. I needed refills of meds that only he could refill, short of going to an ER I was up the proverbial creek. No answering machine or service.I spent countless days trying to reach him. Called the health company, his doctor care group, no one has a clue where he is. So unprofessional. BEWARE!
Dr. Nienow has been my primary doctor, as well as my daughter's, for years. He makes me feel comfortable and confident discussing anything related to my health, which is often difficult for me. I can be anxious at times (and a bit of a hypochondriac), but I always feel reassured and confident that the best action is being taken for my current condition. If I have any health concerns, I feel better just after consulting with him.
