Dr. McAllister has treated my wife for glaucoma for several years and successfully did cataract surgery for both her eyes. Last week he did cataract surgery on my left eye. So far recovery has been excellent. He is a consummate professional. We highly recommend him for these services. He is supported by an excellent staff.
Every since my mother got eye surgery with Dr McAllister her eye has never been the same.. after she complained they discharge her . Terrible customer service think twice before you go to this place
Don’t bother calling this practice for an appointment if you have a serious eye problem, as they will make you wait months to be seen. I need a macular degeneration evaluation asap and the soonest they could see me was 2 1/2 months out. They have 17 doctors and not one of them available to see me in a reasonable timeframe. Worthless practice for new patients.
Dr John McAllister was recommended to me by my previous eye doctor when he retired. I was so relieved to meet this doctor. He is compassionate, patient and takes his time explaining every procedure and answers all questions. I feel in good and safe hands with this doctor. I highly recommend this doctor. Dr. McAllister took amazing care of my father. He is part of Northern Virginia Opthalmology Associates, and all of the Opthalmologists my father and I have been treated by there (Dr. Jessica Oliver, Dr. Forrest Ellis, and Dr. John McAllister) have been amazing.
