Great to finally have a Dr. Who's so knowledgeable. He was very supportive and kind when [...] had a small seizure during his visit with him. He touched him caringly and told him he can get through this. His compassion was greatly honorable and It made us feel better. He would be the Neurologist I would pick hands down every time.
Dr Mackenzie is the best neurologist. He always takes the time to ensure all of my questions are answered and thoroughly go over any treatment plans after discussing all options.
Dr. MacKenzie was so great, first he listened to the explanation of [...] medical history and was so compassionate, he asked questions, was going to check on options of medications [...]. Dr MacKenzie was not taking any new cases and I, [...] mother, was starting to have adverse medical symptoms, and was afraid he was having complications from his stroke, I was franticly trying to find a doctor in our area that I felt was knowledgeable neurologist. [...]. I highly recommend Dr John MacKenzie und have und do recommend him to all mein fruends that suffer from sever chronic migraines such as myself, he truly is outstanding. He explains the procedure, the possibilities of side effects, the units , why he does what he does , the possibilities of why you may be suffering the way you are. He treats you as a person nicht like a number. True meaning of HELLO HUMAN KINDNESS ! As does his staff. I am truly impressed !
Dr. Mackenzie is a good Doctor but his staff and ease of getting in leaves a great deal to be desired. I called in with numbness/tingling in my tongue and was told they could get to me in 2 months( I've been seeing him for years for TGN). If you need a practice that's there for you, THIS ISN'T IT. I am going to go to Flagstaff or Phoenix for further care.
Dr. MacKenzie has treated my MS for many years. He is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable about my condition. He is an excellent doctor.
He’s the best!!! Very caring and compassionate. He listens to what you have to say!!!
Our visit lasted an hour. Dr MacKenzie covered every issue throughly with me and I learned more about my health issues (neuropathy, epilepsy and brain aneurysms) that I have from any other doctor. Dr MacKenzie listened to everything I said, took notes and gave suggestions. After a careful examination he was able to diagnose some issues that were unknown to me and important to know about. I am extremely satisfied with my visit and am happy to have Dr MacKenzie as my neurologist.
Very good.
