I have been a patient for 3 years. Dr. Macaluso seems to be a caring physician, but his time management skills are lacking. His office has cancelled appointments on short notice multiple times,& I even had the occasion to arrive for an appointment only to be told that Dr. Macaluso was running so far behind that they had to cancel me. I cannot afford that as I am employed full-time. Office staff have also called incorrect prescription orders to pharmacy twice. I will be changing cardiologists
I am 39 and was told I have heart failure. I was recommended Dr. Macaluso and I could not be in better hands. He did not rush our appointment, explained my condition well, recommended life changes with reason instead of a "just do it" attitude and I truly feel that he cares about me instead of being just another patient. God forbid anyone reading this has my problem but if you do, this is the doctor to see! Thank you Doc!!!!

From my first contact with Dr. Macaluso in a hospital and then continuing as my cardiologist I was impressed with his thorough investigation. He is congenial and efficient. He integrates your cardiology issues with your general medical information. When you first go into the office for your appointment they warn you it may be a bit of a wait because Dr. Macaluso never rushes a patient. And that is true...He will spend as much time with you as you need to understand exactly what is happening
