Extremely nice and cool guy. He, however, botched both treatments I had done with him and caused me to experience a lot of extra pain for no reason. Luckily these treatments were for nothing life threatening, but they were certainly not enjoyable. One of them was simply a partially broken collarbone (an extremely trivial and common SPORTS MEDICINE injury) and the brace he told me to wear fully broke the bone after I put the brace on for the first time. I can only give him 2 stars as 100% of my treatments have been botched.
I checked out several physicians and NPs to find a medical professional I felt comfortable with. I even had initial intake appointments with them. I was not satisfied with their demeanor, level of experience, or expertise in how they treated the issue. I was quite happy with Dr. Sassano and he was direct and straight to the point of what his thoughts and plans were. As an RN I can tell the difference between bs and someone that knows what they are doing. I finally found a good doctor. Plus he has a good attitude.
