Having been sliced and screwed all of my spine and having nerve entrapment, he was the only one who understood what meds worked for me and didn't try to push the new long acting which don't work for someone with multiple TBIs! He tells it as he sees it and as a Nurse I respect that!
I have been a patient of Dr. Huffmans' since 2017 and recommend him and his staff highly! If you are serious about finding help with your pain mgt needs Dr. Huffman is perfect, if you're looking for someone to just give you pain meds look somewhere else.
Dr. Huffman is the best, he takes time to explain and is always there when you need him. Very few Dr. have time for patients, he looks out for you to get the best treatment. He finds solutions and has helped in me in trying to reduce my pain level of CRPS. It's good to have a Dr. who understands the conditions and is compassionate, always trying to give the best care.
Dr Huffman is the best PM anesthesiologist there is ANYWHERE. I have been on the receiving end of close to a dozen HUGE needles with very little discomfort considering what such looked like and the RFA he did to my SIJ is one of the few such procedures to give a permanent benefit. And, true to his word Dr Huffman's RFA had no effect at all on the full duplex transmission/reception capacity of my pudendal neurons which hook-up with (& rely on) the integrity of my S2, S3, & S4 nerves as same .....
After months of ER and hospital admits, invasive tests and three surgeries, only Dr. Huffman was able to ameliorate my pain.
Dr. Huffman and his staff are very compassionate and have been the only ones that have given my husband any relief severe chronic from back pain caused by failed back surgeries.
