I have had longtime ear and sinus issues. After seeing 2 specialists who didn't do great follow-up, I was referred to Dr Byers. When I saw him, he gave me time to tell him about my entire experience, and I felt like he truly listened to my list of concerns. That is a really important part of any doctor/patient relationship. I had something moving in my sinus and behind my eye. I kept getting “tonsil stones”. I said it was being caused by what was moving in my sinus. I finally gave in and had a tonsillectomy. Mind you! The day he decided to do a tonsillectomy, he finally put a scope into my nose to look. For the first time. I asked for cultures. Anything. My insurance and I were charged for an adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy. I only had a tonsillectomy. Insurance fraud!
