He saved my husband's life! He diagnosed plaque was launched in his eye. I didn't have an appointment and my husband and I just stopped by to make one. When we explained what was wrong, Dr. Schweinger realized it was a dangerous condition and took my husband to his examining room right away! He checked my husband's eyes thoroughly. He recommended to my husband to see a cardiologist ASAP. They don't call me back, make promises they don't keep. Kept me waiting 1 hour while they gave my appt. to another person. Patsy has multiple excuses. Well --she's run out of them. THREE strikes -you're out. Moving on to someone who can competently handle the front office.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Schweninger. I was his first appointment of the day. Imagine my surprise when he greeted me at the reception desk and took my insurance info!! Most docs have no idea how insurance billing even works. He explained every part of the examine, and answered all my questions. Will never go to another Ophthalmologist again. He gave me a number of treatment choices and made sure I understood the benefits of each.
I have been using Dr Schweninger for 2 years. Over 40 years of doctors office visits and I have never had such a positive experience I would not go any where else!
Absolutely the most caring physician I have ever come across. Explained everything and answered all questions. Never made me feel like I was just a number and called the house himself after I had my eye surgery, just to see how I was doing. Can not say enough good things about this wonderful ophthalmology.
He was very personable and listened to my problems then he started explaining what could be wrong or causing the problem. He even showed my husband what the problem was by looking at the one eye then the other so he could see the difference. I was truly appreciative of that and felt much better at the end of the visit. Very trustworthy and made us feel comfortable, so much so my husband made an appointment and we both will go back to him when needed.
