My husband went for out-patient surgery. Dr. Sitarik met with him prior to surgery and voiced concerns about the ability to safely intubate him due to a physical characteristic. He said he would try, and if successful, the surgery would be done. If not, they'd cancel the surgery, and my husband would go to a hospital where more options for emergencies were available.
