I saw Dr M, (an older doctor) this was a VA referral. I had never been so DISAPPOINTED in medical care ever until then. The Dr asked me questions and I told him "an old injury continued to worsen throughout the years and I was there because in the last 2-3 yrs, the pain became intolerable and it had moved to other areas of my body making my everyday living impossible." They made a mistake in my mother’s medication. Tried to call to correct as she is leaving to go out of state for a few months. Could not speak with anyone. I have left message before and never received a call back. I would not recommend them to anyone. Rude people who do answer the phone. You will get better care elsewhere
There is no sense in sending someone's pain medicine in the next day knowing I was completely out, especially when there was two hours after my appointment for it to be sent. The NP was only in the room with me for 5 minutes and seemed to care less about my pain level. I wanted to talk with Dr. Marcella about how my current medication is no longer helping and discuss what would be good for muscle disease pain, but I didn't even get to see him. I was referred to doctor Marsella for an epidural neck injection and it was the best medical experience I’ve ever had. Doctor Marsella and his staff are kind, knowledgeable, and super efficient! The procedure was fast and I chose to be awake but they also offer anesthesia for personal comfort in some cases :) the procedure definitely has changed my life and offered relief I thought couldn’t be achieved. Doctor Marsella knows what he’s doing if you’re looking for “that review”
