Always seems caring have had no problems with any services at this office. He is very up front and honest and when i needed to be referred to a specialist it was done quickly. No problems getting in to see him when i call. Nursing staff is GREAT as well.
I really like Dr. Spethman and I appreciate his service to our country as well. As such, I'm willing to reschedule an appointment, if required. He's a caring doctor and a good listener!
I was a stranger to Topeka, when Dr Spethman became my Primary Care doctor. He listened to me and put me in touch with the doctor's I needed. I had an artery that was 90 % blocked. I don't know what would have happened to me without his help. I will be forever grateful to this good man. He is a fine doctor. I believe he saved my life.
Friendly and personable. Seemed to really listen. Very easy to talk to. He does serve in the military, so there are times when he's not available, but that's understandable.
Dr. Spethman was personable and helpful. I enjoyed my visit with him.
The doctor was borderline hostile about Medicare when I saw him. Made for an unpleasant visit. Also, the only two appointments I ever made with him were rescheduled by his office because he was not going to be available at the times I was scheduled. His office, however, is really nice to work with.
Business response:
I honestly do not recall this visit. I do accept patients with Medicare. Perhaps my comments about Medicare were directed not towards patients with the Insurance but how limiting the Insurance can be when it comes to caring for patients and some of the unnecessary "hoops" it makes patients and Physicians jump through to get things done. I do serve in the Army Reserves and the position I hold does require me to be gone, sometimes with short notice. I am sorry your visit was unpleasant.
