I have gone to dr wheeler since 2008 when I moved to Huntsville. He has delivered 1 of my children but was my dr for both pregnancies! He has a great bedside manor and makes you feel comfortable!
Dr Wheeler is great! He has delivered 2 of my 3 children (His dad delivered my 1st child). He is very pleasant and easy to talk to about anything at any time.
Was not impressed he made me feel uncomfortable during my pap smear
Tried to get an appointment. Staff member I was talking too was rude and did not care when I mentioned it was urgent. I hear good things about mr. Wheeler but I believe he needs to change support staff. They are no support to him.
Dr. Wheeler may know what he is doing, but his staff is rude and pushy and his new nurse is horrible. Not only did I have to wait for an hour+ to get back to the exam room the past few times I have been in the office, I have to wait another hour+ to see Dr Wheeler. And even then I feel like I am being rushed. As a first time pregnant woman, I would like to be able to spend more time talking about my concerns and less time waiting. I was very disappointed with Dr Wheeler, even though he was my ob/gyn for 14 years. I sat in the waiting room for 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment. When he came in he immediately started talking about birth control options. Even though I am done having children, I do not believe in artificial birth control. I went there only for a physical which is supposed to be free with my insurance coverage. When I left the staff insisted that I pay $30. My insurance says I shouldn't have paid that amount. I never got to meet Dr. Wheeler until he walked in my delivery room. He absolutely has the BEST bedside manor and made a new mom-to-be feel so comfortable when delivering. I plan to switch and make him my primary doctor after that experience! Absolutely phenomenal doctor - the best I've ever seen.
Been a patient since 1998. I've never had any problems with Dr. Wheeler or any of the staff. He is easy to talk to, very knowledgable, and has a great bedside manner. The nurses are always wonderful too.
Dr. Wheeler has the best bedside manor. He's easy to talk to and always has a smile on his face. Highly recommend.
