We saw Dr. Perilloux and she was amazing. The entire staff made us feel welcomed and we were in and out in no time. We luckily had an 8AM appointment.
The nurses were wonderful, however our wait time and suggestion of surgery were NOT. It took 3 hours for the appointment to conclude from start to finish, and after seeing the Dr, he recommended surgery on my three year olds eyes for a strabismus. I’m not putting my child through eye surgery at such a young age. Other methods of intervention were not suggested, only surgery. Maybe I’m being dramatic, but they will not be seeing us again.
I am writing to formally respond to the letter I recently received containing false accusations against me. To clarify the situation, my initial pushback was regarding the statement made by your office that the doctor cannot speak directly with parents to help with their child's health. Furthermore, I strongly object to the characterization of my behavior as "abusive." At no point were any threats made, nor was any foul language used toward the receptionist. The doctor is great, but his wait times are absolutely ridiculous. We had a follow up appointment with no dilation and had to wait 2 hours before being seen. With young children this is extremely difficult and their attention span does not last this long and it is difficult on the parents. As a child physician, this should go into account and the scheduling should not be as heavy.
Waited for over an hour pass appointment time every time we come. My son’s autistic and has a hard time staying still as it is. Really could use better time management skills!! Shouldn’t have to wait well over an hour after the appointment time! Specially since we are atleast 15 mins early to be on time. Will look for a different dr for future.
