Wow. Hard to know where to start. I had a badly ruptured Achilles tendon (common story -- playing tennis at 59 y.o.). Saw Dr. Constantino and we decided surgery would be the best route. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. John Constantino at Alexander Alexander Orthopaedic Associates. I recently had a large toe joint fusion surgery with him — this was my fifth foot surgery after several failed procedures in the past, including a prior unsuccessful joint fusion and even a joint replacement. Around August 15th, I ruptured my Achilles tendon, which immediately caused me to fall and left me unable to walk. According to the imaging, it was about 80% torn, with only a small portion still holding it together, and the tendon was badly shredded.
