I had bunion surgery on my right foot in 2009. Recovering consisted of 6 weeks non-weight bearing and lots of physical therapy. It was unpleasant enough that I waited until the bunion on my left foot was having a considerable negative impact on my quality of life. Wow. Hard to know where to start. I had a badly ruptured Achilles tendon (common story -- playing tennis at 59 y.o.). Saw Dr. Constantino and we decided surgery would be the best route. Scheduling was easy, and his team took care of everything. Surgery center in Palm Harbor was clean, smooth and efficient. I had no infection or complications from the surgery.
