Dr.John Caruso is an excellent Dr.and surgeon. My most recent experience was this January. Dr.Caruso and his team gave me a fusion of L4 L5 with great results, though I'm still rehabilitating. He explained to me several times what I would go through in recovery, he was right. Dr.Caruso made several visits to my bed in the hospital as did his staff checking on me. He has even called me personally at home this morning ,Saturday! I would highly recommend this Surgeon and His team. Sincerely, Jack
I had surgery with Dr Caruso about 7-8 years ago. He was wonderful. I had to have a plate and screws placed. I now have been trying to make an appointment for more than a month and even had my primary doctor order the MRI so I could help the process along. I’m told that I have had a shift in the plate and that is why the nerve pain is running down the back of my legs. Dr. Caruso is one of the most respected neurosurgeons on the East coast by his patients and peers. He's been a blessing to me. He got me back on my feet with minimal surgery and maximum care.
I have been trying for over 2 months to getan appointment with this doctor for my husband due his degenerative spine issues and all we have been getting from the office staff is that they will get back to us. My husband pain level is debilitating and prevents him from walking more than a few feet My husband is putting the blame on the fact he has Medicare. Such a shame to the profession.
