I was a patient for for 15 years. I recently had to go into treatment due to a traumatic experience in my life and Dr. Burnside ( who has known me for 15 years) sends an email not to check in but to say “ he can no longer treat me because I didn’t set up an appointment”… while I was in an inpatient facility. I don’t know what happened but this coldness and lack of care is what I guess Dr. Burnside has evolved into. The front desk is very kind but I cannot believe the apathy from that man.
I learned early in my adulthood as a husband & father...that "asking starts the receiving process". This applies in prayer, in sales/ business, job advancement and especially in our personal "growth" journey throughout one's life. Some feel it's "taboo" to see or share our personal growth challenges...mostly to avoid "judgement" by other's. Even more so with an individual who choses to see a psychiatrist. Great doctor! Dr. John C. Burnside is thoughtful and caters his sessions specifically to the needs of his patient, as any good doctor should. I'm thankful to have found him. The staff is welcoming and always very polite.
this company does not take insurance $ 500 for 1st visit outrageous!! this is the reason we have metal heath crisis on the USA!!
