Had surgery with Dr. Anson in 2023. I got a terrible infection. Not pleased and the problem is still going on. The solution was to place another shunt in the other side of my ventricles. I was not interested in both this doctor service and the horrible hospital that I had the surgery in. They put me in an area where they were doing construction. And I just had BRAIN SURGERY!
Dr Anson is a hero in my life. Thank you for what you did for me.
Illiterate staff and they are not only rude on the phone, but the follow up is so ridiculous. Don’t let yourself leave the hospital without firstly making sure that the staff manager will actually do her job and see that you have enough medication to last for the first 5 post surgical days as I was also unable to do. My nerve pain was so unbelievably bad that I now have ptsd and memory problems from the new meds and even worse symptoms than before surgery.
