Dr. Ackerman was very patient and really listened to what was bothering me and took time to pinpoint my pain and not just do a catch all. I was having so much tingling zinging sensations down my hand, fingers and arm and thought it was carpal tunnel but he found out it was my neck and healed me and it’s been over 6 months without any radiating pain and I have my life back. Thanks to Dr. Ackerman!!!! He’s fantastic!!! 10/10. He made a huge difference so I can get back to my life!
Deeply concerning pain management visit — MRI not reviewed and no meaningful treatment options offered My experience with Joel Ackerman was extremely disappointing and concerning. I came to the appointment seeking pain management guidance based on recent MRI findings. His nurse physically handed him the MRI paperwork during the visit, and instead of reviewing it, he rolled it up like a newspaper and never once appeared to look at it. Dr Ackerman is the kindest doctor. He and his staff are wonderful. They make you feel very cared for and are experts in their treatments. I 100% would recommend him.
Super easy check in, got into room very quickly, Dr. Ackerman was professional and knowledgeable while being sympathetic to my pain. Highly recommend!
