Very nice man. Spends plenty of time with patients. Only problems are has to see you about anything and everything. He can't do anything over the phone. Even a refill at times requires an appointment. Seems to have to many patients. Extreme wait times to get an appointment. He had two nurses who assisted him but cut back to one and she seems overwhelmed. Last time I called about a refill it took 2 days for her to get back with me. When you see him your only allowed to discuss 2 medical problems
Amazing caring doctor. He took his time and addressed all my problems. I could not be happier. He and all of his staff was the best. The medical assistant was great! The office workers were very kind and caring.
I have been a patient of Dr. Joe Pouzar Jr. since September 2011. That ended today. His practice has moved from having a driving force of patient care to an assembly line body shop. It is now all about how many paying bodies he can move through the office in a day. No matter his clinical qualifications if he is "booked up and too busy" to see an acutely ill patient he does no good.
Dr. Pouzar always did a good job explaining my medical conditions. He made good recommendations. He is concerned about his patients.
THIS DOCTORS 20+ EXPERIENCE AND HIS ABILITY TO DIAGNOSE A VARIETY OF MEDICAL PROBLEM I HAVE BROUGHT TO HIM, HAS ME RETURNING. I BELIEVE THAT JOE POUZAR IS THE BEST FAMILY PHYSICIAN IN THE BAY AREA. HE IS RESPECTFUL AND COURTEOUS YET FIRM AS TO WHAT IS NEEDED TO SOLVE MY MEDICAL PROBLEM.
Dr. Pouzar treats our adult family with accuracy and successful treatments. His awareness for each of us is always up-to-date and follow up is Stellar!! Appreciate his professional commitment and individual care to detail. Provides us all peace of mind.
The staff is rude. You wait forever and to see your doctor takes months.
